The course offers the primary knowledge and skills necessary for workers newly assigned to assist with remediation activities following a hazardous materials incident. It is designed to meet the training guidelines outlined in the OSHA 1910.120 and WAC 296-843 standards.
Who Should Attend? General site workers (such as equipment operators, general laborers and supervisory personnel) engaged in hazardous substance removal or other activities which expose or potentially expose workers to hazardous substances at clean-up sites, RCRA TSD facilities, or during emergency response operations.
Cost? $1,365 per person (includes lunch daily, 2024 Emergency Response Guidebook (ERG), NIOSH Pocket Guide and manual) for the 4th Quarter of 2025. Cost includes sales tax now required by the passage of ESSB 5814 which subjects all training to retail sales tax. Reduced rate of $1,250 is offered for payments received prior to 9/26/2025.
